Today, someone hit my parked car. The impact caused the front of the car to go up onto the sidewalk, and I got a ticket for parking there. FML

probably not worth the time to go to court, unless you have 3 or 4 hours to waste. try to talk to officer. he can dismiss it without you having to go there.

The cop might have noticed the damage, but unless he was familiar with the car, he wouldn't necessarily know the damage was new. Still, the ticket is easily contestable in court. Good luck, OP!

the bonus ticket comes when OP has to show up to the courthouse to dispute the ticket and the rigged meters run out. or for damaged Windows or mirrors. **** it, I've seen them make up things to write tickets for
