brb throwing up... q tip maybe?
Sounds like a great conversation starter to me.
Yea OP you could be like "I thought you just looked good, but now that i can hear your voice..."
21 is right. Doctors say not to use q-tips to clean your ears. Doctors will tell you to use water to clean your ears, but if you're like me, the water will get trapped in there which can lead to infection. I'm guessing OP has similar problems. Now I use hydrogen peroxide to clean my ears, which is a trick I learned from a Cracked article, not a doctor, and my ears have been much better.
Yeah but they have a good reason to tell you not to use cotton buds in your ears. They can push the was against your ear drum and cause a perforation. Which can of course, lead to permanent deafness. Personally i would avoid using buds, unless i really needed too.
-29 Doctors say not to stick Q-tips in your ears (or anything else that's smaller than your finger) because you could puncture your ear drum and cause serious permanent damage.
it's because the q tip could lodge ear wax into your canal, doing more bad than good. you can also lodge the q tip itself in your canal, causing damage. the q tip box even says not to use it for your ears
I love using Q-tips! It's like having a little ear-gasm! I never had problems using them and know to go slow and stop when there's resistance so what's the problem? Anything could have risks if you don't use it properly. Also this FML made me think about that earwax scene from "Shrek"
Wtf? Q-tips don't go in ears? They what the heck are they for?
I agree, I think practitioners advise against using them in ears because too many people just aren't careful. They just jab it straight in. When I do I make sure I do it real slow, not going in more than a centimeter and rubbing the sides of the cavity rather than scrubbing. I've never struck anything dangerous, basically cause I'm aware of how delicate and close to the surface the mechanism is. Deeper in the ear wax is actually beneficial for the system's health anyway.
I always heard that q-tips weren't supposed to go in the ears because little fluffy pieces from the cotton often get stuck in the ear wax causing more blockage and bacteria than there was before you put it in. This makes sense to me because cotton balls are made of a bunch of fluffy strings jammed together. To each his own though.
36- Finding your G-Spot with a Q-tip sounds very GQ.
For makeup removal
They're supposed to be used for make-up application, applying ointment or antibiotic (any cream really), use in first aid, removing nail polish, to clean jewelry, etc. I use q tips as well, but only after a shower and to dry the outer part of my ear. I used to get ear infections all of the time because of water entering my ear, and I honestly can't stand peroxide/alcohol tips that doctor give me; it feels too uncomfortable. I don't stick it in my ear, just wherever is visible. Ear wax is actually good for your body because it keeps your ears clean and keeps bad things out (though a built up should be examined). So you shouldn't get rid of all of the wax anyway.
I only use qtips to clean my piercings and my piercing jewelry. I've never used q tips for all the reasons stated above. I get pretty bad earwax blockage that makes me so dizzy I can barely walk and sometimes even sit straight. I use these special earwax removal drops that you drop in your ear and they foam up and break apart the earwax, and then you flush it out with water. Only have to do it like every six months when it start falling over again.
With ear wax congestion if embarrassed by the situation you could always purchase olive oil from a pharmacist and do it yourself. The oil is a natural lubricant and will soften up any of the impacted ear wax.
As a medical care provider, I've never found a single patient of mine sexually attractive! OP shouldn't go for it, because even if this nurse or any care provider actually found a patient appealing in that way... we can't date patients. I highly doubt this nurse would risk his job to get with a patient! I certainly never would.
Maybe she won't judge?
It's a shame you didn't read the FML because OP clearly stated the nurse was a male
She won't, but he might.
The nurse is male
I'm sure the earwax didn't phase him at all. We deal with a lot more nasty things than that. If you want to go for it OP!
well sorry. I'm one of those people that assume everyone in the internet is male unless stated otherwise. Plus I didn't see the "he" in the sentence until now.
I need you to not ever comment again. OP male and even your follow up response to your mistake implies you would've been right had you "assumed everyone on the internet is male unless said otherwise "anyways. It clearly states male, you assumed female going against your own defense, and still messed up. I've never seen a worse collection of stupidity
I guess in this case it isn't what's in the inside that really counts...
THE hottest nurse ever? ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
welp... that face makes this comment alot better
How do you even do that face?
#40- (. _ʖ.) I don't know...
He has probably seen worse, so just go for it!
Use that same wax and lit it like a candle. Romantic.
That reminds me of when Shrek pulled like a 3 foot candle of earwax out of his ear and lit it. :P
Build a wax statue of him. HIM. ...people these days :/
That's not so bad, Op! it'll be a great story to tell your grandkids.
