That must have driven you mad.
Dammit, I want to go through ONE comment section without awful puns!
Making one small mistake in a car is not a big deal... Unless you kill/hurt yourself or someone else. You should failed this test but you should get another chance in few weeks after more practice with an instructor. When I first got my license years ego my dad make sure I drove A LOT while on learners permit (I drove 15-20K miles before going for DL test). Sad part is many parents don't let kids drive hardly at all before letting them loose on public roads (even worse sometimes in V8 monster)
OP if you get confused just remember, wherever you're driving, whether at home or abroad, the driver is always on the inside of the road. If you look out your window and see sidewalks and pedestrians instead of oncoming traffic, you're either on the wrong side of the road or in a vehicle not made for that country. Either way you'll need to change.
Not necessarily. Where I live we drive on the left however, due to our proximity to the US we import a ton of left hand drive cars.
Jamaica?
Yeah this should be a YDI because the safety for OP and others on the road it's vital to at the very least know what side of the road you're supposed to drive its a given/common sense to know that but I guess in this case for OP this sense wasn't so common.
Some more practice, and a bit more presence-of-mind would be helpful next time. I'm sure you'll get it! Good luck!
That's just test anxiety, OP. None of us make the best judgments when we're nervous. I'd never expect you to make this mistake under normal circumstances. At least you have a good story to tell; I'm sure you'll laugh about this later. Better luck next time!
Dammit, you had ONE job!
Automatic fail. It's ok though, I automatic failed my first for cutting a corner so short I popped the curb.

I'm guessing you didn't pass?
