kittens aren't hard to get rid of though. the mother will take care of them the first 8 weeks, and then you give them away. I had a cat give birth a few years ago. when they were old enough I made an ad on kijiji. they were all gone by the end of the week.

My neighbor had a feral cat and 3 kittens living underneath her back porch. I loved to watch the momma cat teach her babies how to hunt. She'd bring them a bird or rat that she crippled and give it to her babies to finish off. Its exactly how a 300lb lion teaches her young to hunt and kill when it breaks a gazelle's legs.....amazing how similar they are.

We didn't know our cat was pregnant until she was in labor and had a kitten hanging out. Even then, we thought she was taking a shit inside, which was weird, as she was an outside cat and trained.

Cats are evil, female cats become pregnant for no apparent reason. You got prove. Unless U think cat owners are not very honest.

Don't buy animals from breeders! Shelters won't adopt out an animal that isn't fixed!

I don't think the seller did know. If someone sells cats, a pregnant cat is a gold mine. If they're not an "avid cat seller," then they probably tricked you. The local pound will clear that right up. That is, if you don't fall in love with them, first. ((Kittens are rad.))
