its a jigsaw trap. skin your fingers, or have them ripped off. make your choice.
Why would you leave your car in NEUTRAL when your opening the hood. Even if your fingers weren't stuck in the hood it could still roll away and then your FML would say Today, my car rolled away. If you have a stick shift then you can put on the parking break. This could've been so easily avoidable. It's your own fault.
This is so obviously fake, it's simply too perfect. I mean, even I can distinguish between Happy Tree Friends and reality.
well since you just say "jeep" I assume you are talking about a wrangler. if it is a wrangler then it is impossible for it to latch shut because they don't have latches they have clips.. also if it wouldn't start that means you left it for some period of time which means it would have rolled way before you came back... FAKE! YDI! do some research before you lie....
You, sir (Ma'am) are retarded. First of all, I HIGHLY doubt that this car is a manual, so there is ABSOLUTELY no reason for you to have had it in neutral. Second, in most cars, to even shift INTO a new gear, you need to have the car ON. If it was not on, how did you get it into neutral. Thirdly, the car would have been rolling to begin with, so do some research and come up with a better story, dipshit.
Not necessarily. You can change gears in manual cars even when they are off, and without the key : you just need to press the clutch as you would if you were driving.
Actually you don't need to press the clutch at all...
that does really suck. but you should never leave a vehicle in neutral on an incline, and in the event you did this in order to check your ATF fluid, ALWAYS set your emergency brake. and btw. you can't accurately check oil or ATF fluid on an incline. and also, put your fingers on top of the hood when closing it... i hope you learned that one. lol sorry about your luck.
midnight rain is exactly right, with a jeep, it is very likely for it to be a manual. and something he didn't mention is, there is a reason he would have needed it in neutral. If it is an automatic, you have to have it in neutral to check the ATF fluid.
wouldn't it hurt to type this??? just wondering

I think your problem may have been slamming your fingers in the hood. That's not a very good strategy when it comes to fixing vehicles.
wow you're dumb. Its just good policy to never get out of your car unless you put the parking brake on and/or put the car in park. and it's really not that hard to avoid slamming your fingers.
