probably would have been smarter of them to get a gay man for the part.
damn you fail and your sad.
not anymore you're not!
Don't sweat it. From the stories I've heard about drama from actors/actresses, it's quite common. You'll get your girl, eventually. You should feel more embarassed about being worried about this than that you kissed more guys than girls. For every other poster who doesn't seem to get acting: I've heard lots of stories about theater from people, and the kissing thing really isn't a big deal, just like nudity isn't really a big deal. Theater is an ART. Whatever someone does on stage is to portray the story and enrapture the audience, and has no bearing on the person themselves. I mean, if I'm seeing people not in-character, and a kiss between two bumbling, awkward people pretending to be characters, who are embarassed about it, it's a terrible play. The best play is one where the characters are so intense they draw you in, or the characters are so funny, that I end up laughing all the time. In both instances, I end up forgetting that there's a real person pretending to be a character, and that's the way it should be. As an audience member, I would be mad if you were awkward onstage because you were worried for kissing another guy. And it wouldn't be smart to get a gay man for the part. Because the gay man may actually feel much more awkward doing the kissing, and the awkwardness may interfere with them being in character. Actually, go you OP for playing a gay part.
59 that's mean. if you don't like kids why did you have any? but yeah you don't choose to be gay. you are born gay.
