I dont think the point was that he's homophobic. If he WERE homophbic and ignorant, would he seriously have played the part- kisses and all? He was voicing how few times he realized he's actually kissed women. I understand your hostility but please dont be so quick to anger. And I have one question for the author: was he a good kisser??
lol @89, so true! his character is gay, but he's really straight. which is perfect for that. anyways, OP, i think it's cool that you're comfortable playing a gay role even though you're straight.
agreeeeeeed:D
If you really like RENT, watch the Filmed Live On Broadway DVD, not just the movie. :)
I didn't like the live version at all. The girl who played Mimi had crazy big eyes and it bother me that she looked surprised all the time. I'm super glad she got pregnant and couldn't do the movie, she would have ruined it!
That's showbiz! That's a real bummer though...
at least it means you're a dedicated actor!!! They're hard to come by these days!!!
I think you should ignore alot of these comments. You should be proud. A guy that comfortable with his sexuality is extremely hard to find these days
ouch. but YDI for playing a gay guy :P
YDI for "acting" gay

FML depends on your age. If you're young, then it doesn't matter; you've got time to make up for it. If you're older, well, then... yup, FML.
Today, I did my job. FML Grow up.
