I bet you wouldn't swap places with the refrigerator, though.
Yeah. Having someone constantly wrenching on my arm to try opening me becomes incredibly annoying after a while.
Maybe that's why they keep doing it?
Why would we want to annoy what keeps our food from spoiling?!??
Poor refrigerator
I'm gonna take a wild guess and say you're not really grounded since he'll never remember any of that. Well he likely won't. But that sucks since you were just trying to help
You aren't really grounded if he was drunk, he won't remember. Of he does, he should see the flaw in grounding you.
Ask him for money since he's under the influence
welcome to Puerto Rico, where the margaritas are bottomless and the kids don't matter!
Good on you for trying to calm him down. I doubt he'll remember grounding you, but if so he wasn't justified. Some parents need to put their college days in the past, grow up and stop being so selfish. I hope this isn't a reoccurring thing, OP. Best of luck.
Chances are he is not going to even remember grounding you (or anything he did that day/night for that matter).
It's cool, he won't remember in the morning

He probably won't remember grounding you...
OP you tried, maybe when he sobers up you can tell him about it and he will take it back.
