I go to school with a Mike Hawk. Well, at least I call him that, cuz I don't know his last name and he's a complete asshole.
love the rendition 27 don't care if i get down voted with you
Pranksters don't care. Mike Hunt sounds like my ****
You're an idiot OP I have no sympathy for you...
That's what you get for making assumptions
#15you mean your ****?
The real fml here is the other guy. He's the one that has to go through his life with that name.
Prankster or not, you work in customer support where you are constantly watched what you say or do. You need to hold your tongue and be polite to everyone. As much as it sucks because no one should have to put up with someone who I disrespectful, it's one of those things where you have to suck it up because your job depends on it literally. In jobs like your bosses don't care because many others are waiting in line to take your job so a simple mistake like that could be your last, especially if you have the boss with the mentality that the customer or whoever calls in is always right. In this case you deserve it because you jumped to conclusions about a someone who called in asking for your help. Go along with it next time and if it does happen to be a prankster you will probably have to just let them have their laugh while being an idiot and move on with your day, with your job still in tact. Still, I wish you the best of luck next time.
Reminds me of P.I. Staker from Hot Fuzz.
I thought exactly the same thing.
I feel for both you and him. It's bad enough to deal with idiots on customer support, but bored pranksters is even worse. Easy to jump to that conclusion if you deal with it often, though looking up accounts first helps. And he's probably gotten so many reactions like that. My husband has a name that gets cheesy jokes a and often reservations cancelled because the person on the other end thinks its a joke. It can be stressful at times.
