Anxious

Today, I had to force myself to take a dump at school, even though I have severe restroom anxiety and shyness. I had finally relaxed enough to go when the tornado drills went off mid-dump, and 46 students and teachers packed into the bathroom with me. FML

At least you had a bit of anonymity from the stall... It could have been worse where there was a fire drill and you would have had to pinch it off and run outside.

thats why you should go in the nurses office. they have individual bathrooms so you dont feel the anxiety. and they're way cleaner than stalls.

Sometimes the nurses office only contain one bathroom. And you literally have 5 students in line waiting to use it. Some more impatient than others.

I feel y ou, OP. I have restroom anxiety when it comes to doing number one AND two. It makes dorm life quite awkward because the restrooms are all of a public nature.

The nurses office in high school echoed very loudly, and people could hear everything going on in there. I found a bathroom that people hardly used, and I used it during a class since people are less likely to use the bathroom at that time. Less people to worry about walking in!

I have the same problem, I hate going at school! I always wait until it's either really loud or they all leave. I'm patient.

And if you had spent any time in the military you would be asking if they enjoyed basking in your aroma. Ahhh how the military makes people's outlooks on things so different.

My illness makes it so I have to use the bathroom more than others... And I've always had that same anxiety. Its tougher to take a dump while at school, especially if you are in middle or high school because that is when your peers are most judgmental, and you see them every day. Its easier to take a dump in a college bathroom though since people don't seem to care as much about that stuff!
