I'd quit if I didn't feel respected, but not before I went to HR and explained everything. It's possible they'll somehow reprimand her boss. I'd love to stay to see that; I'd leave after. If HR wasn't going to do anything but file a report, I'd leave knowing at least now there's a report.

Why did you quit? Unless you were working for a small company, you should have gone straight to HR and gotten that bitch fired! Sorry for your dad, but quitting wasn't the smartest decision you could have made. Now you're unemployed in a shitty economy. Good luck finding another job.
