Don't get him a cake. Instead leave a note where the cake is supposed to be saying "The cake was a lie"
Compromise with him. The groom's cake can be a batman cake. Wedding cake a traditional one. And Maybe a few decorations on the reception tables can be star wars, but Not the entire wedding. Make sure there is stuff you like as well or you will resent him. And the deal breaker is if he insists wearing a Wookie costume instead of a tuxedo.
