You've agreed to the theme, try to disuade him on the cake. Theres nothing wrong with the cake on its own but in a star wars theme that is just wrong. Even if it wa a star wars themed birthday party a batman cake would be odd. Maybe give him a batman cake for a grooms cake. Im not too sure what they are but on Ace of Cakes the bride got her husband to be a spiderman grooms cake, it was pretty kewl. He is still getting an awesome themed wedding and the cake just not all at once.
Just go ahead an do nothing , so at the wedding when He ask you just say to Him : The cake is a lie , I am sure that He will understeand.
