Bad timing

Today, I called my husband and he told me that he was going to invite his friend Jeff over that night. I told him I would prefer that he didn't come over. He took it to mean that I wanted to spend time with him and came home with flowers. Then had to tell him I was leaving him. FML

FYL? No, FHL you stupid ****... Divorce is a horrible thing, I would know seeing as my parents went through it. It may seem like the right move for you, but I will affect you're husband greatly... I hope to hell you don't have any children to have to go through this aswell

You guys, if she wanted to leave him chances are he had it a long time coming just because she wasn't compatible with him for whatever reason. She was doing the both of them a favor. The flowers were a fluke, a bright side in a cloud that wasn't holding water for OP. Or OP could be a jerk. But it doesn't sound like she meant badly.

OP, you're a bitch. Your husband clearly loves you, he went and got you flowers, yet you're leaving him. I hate idiots like you who treat marriage like a normal relationship, it's a commitment, and when you make one, you're need to stick with it. You're a very selfish woman, so many other people would love to be married but can't afford it or even find the right person. You had that chance and you blew it. I may not know you or the full story, but from the sound of it, your husband cared and wasn't expecting such a low blow, which is what makes you such an ungrateful bitch. I can't even imagine all of the kind things he must have done for you that you just took for granted. I may get thumbed down for this, but I just can't believe how stupid and selfish you are, you completely deserved this and much worse.
