I get that its no ones fault sometimes when things don't work out, but without any description of WHY you were leaving him, this just makes you sound like YOU'RE the one not trying. Obviously he still goes out of his way to make you happy.
Spends time money and affection to make you happy and you would still leave him is just wow.

Just because he bought her flowers doesn't mean that there is no legitimate reason for divorcing him. Y'all are being really judgy and perpetuating some really sexist ideas when you presume that she should continue to engage in a relationship just because her partner puts in a bit of effort.
