Get yourself some Solarcaine spray. It smells funny and you'll b sticky for a little while, but it will hurt much less and won't peel.

Do yourself a favor, brew up some tea really strong and after it cools a little, get a cotton ball or paper towel and apply the tea to the sun burn, it will relieve a lot of the pain, the longer you wait the less it works though. The tannic acid in the tea works as burn relief.

Well I think the red burn would prove that wrong unless he calls that a rug burn per se...
