What troubles me the most is how this goes together. Did your mother have you at a young age, therefore is still able to reproduce with your husband or did they do the dirty while he was still young or is he just prominently older than you & did your mom (oh burn!) before you two met. Yes this totally sucks for OP but why did everyone jump to this meant her mum and husband had an affair? I assumed that this happened prior to their relationship.

Why do you have to stereotype her as a hillbilly? Just because some incest goes on doesn't mean they're "hillbillies". In most cases "hillbillies" have such a large family tree that all live in the same general area it's hard to figure out if it's a relative or not.
