I think the guy would have noticed if he was stepping on your foot...but frankly he didn't care...
Ever think a broken foot is not really a handicap. It's a short term thing deal with it and sit in a regular seat .
It can disable a person as much as though he had no foot for that "short term" so why not use a perfectly good seat if no one else needs it? It's not easy to move around a bus with crutches and handicap seats are generally close to a door. Lastly, as far as I know, being old isn't a handicap either.
Those seats are meant for people who have trouble walking or standing. It doesn't have to be a permanent disability to qualify. What kind of logic is this?
I did just have ACL reconstruction in November, so I know what it is like to have a temporary disability, but I am not a lazy person and would not let this stop me. I did not and would not use a disabled spot simply because there are people who actually need it. So don't try to go on to me how difficult it is with a simple broken foot.
"If I can handle running a marathon with two broken legs then so can anyone" That's what your comment sounds like to me.
#5 I'm with you on this. The rest of you don't have a clue.
Jeez, it's threads like these that get the comment section closed. Just keep your religion to yourself, at least here, (although that's generally good advice wherever you are). We don't need another pointless debate on this.
#43 you could also keep your opinion to yourself. that would work too.
46, just as you could keep your "god" comments to yourself? You're a prime example of ignorantly blissful. "The rest of you don't have a clue."
One time I sprained my knee and for almost two weeks it made everyday things like walking up stairs and even getting into the bathtub painful and difficult. It made me really think of people who have to live that way all the time. If I rode up front on the bus so it would make my recovery a little less unpleasant and someone said something like that to me I'd probably be bawling my eyes out. What a monster.
it's sad that people are so lost.
I hate when this happens. I feel your pain op, I too have a lot of this. I think people should really investigate before making accusations. It'll save a lot of time and breath. And embarrassment as well.

Geezuz ******* christ what is wrong with people being so high and mighty and uppity about this sort of thing with their wild accusations?!
Ouch. Did you have a cast or crutches? Even if you didn't, you still don't deserve being stomped on.
