Broke

Today, while sitting in a handicapped seat on the bus, an old man angrily approached me and chewed me out in front of everyone for not leaving the seat empty for "those who actually need it." Then he stormed off the bus, stepping heavily on my broken foot. FML

Geezuz ******* christ what is wrong with people being so high and mighty and uppity about this sort of thing with their wild accusations?!

Ouch. Did you have a cast or crutches? Even if you didn't, you still don't deserve being stomped on.

I was in Christchurch, New Zealand's second-largest city, one morning, when an old man literally shoved me out of his way so he could get on a bus before me. 'Respect your elders'? Sure, as soon as they start respecting me.

when I am that old if I am ever that miserable piece of Shit like I hope some one else puts me out of my misery

See? This is why I hate people. Everyone is so ignorant and jumps to conclusions.

Sorry to hear that! You should've proved him wrong in front of everyone

some people are just ... ya i think u get the point

This is my problem with old people. They tell us "younger generations" to respect them and bow down to them, but they think that same rule doesn't apply to them. ******* hypocrites (not all of them, but there's always a handful).

I HATE people who do this. I get it all the time. Just because people can't see the injury, they assume you don't have one. What a dick. Sorry OP.

Wow. What an ignorant ****. Sorry Op. :(

I don't know what the handicap rules are, and someone correct me if I am wrong, but I don't think having a broken foot counts as a handicap... And I have had broken bones before and never considered it as a handicap

That's what I was thinking. If there was only one handicapped spot, I'm sure there were people on the bus who needed it more.

The general guidelines of handicap spaces on buses and trains and whatnot is that those seats can be used by anyone but if you don't have a handicap you are supposed to get up and stand for someone who needs it. There are usually a good 6+ handicap spaces on a bus and a broken foot definitely counts as a handicap.

A broken foot is not a damn handicap it is a temporary inconvenience. I know I have broken my fair share of bones, including my ankle and didn't need special treatment.
