Bugging out

By Anonymous - 23/06/2013 04:10 - United States - Seattle

Today, while working the graveyard shift at my hotel, it felt a little chilly, so I grabbed a blanket out of the box we usually store old blankets in. Twenty minutes later, the live-in maintenance man casually remarked that those blankets are all infected with bed-bugs. FML

They should've marked the box! You should definitely go take a shower and wash your clothes in hot water before it gets any worse.

You'd think your hotel would throw those out, sentimental I guess?

I had the same problem. Except black widow spiders were involved.

Just bathe and wash your clothes to loose any stragglers and you'll be fine, bedbugs can't live on the body.

Are there any hotels that don't have a hamper of linens with bedbugs these days? At least they are usually marked. Research it; it's a real problem.

Well the bed bugs must've been cold too :)

Wash the blankets in hot water and dry on high heat. And do the same for your clothes and shoes when you get home. have your car washed and detailed, and buy new bags (purse, duffle bag for clothes, etc).

Infested. And bedbugs suck. Good luck pal

time to take the blankets outside and burn them

the box shouldn't be marked, it just shouldn't be there. the blankets sholdve been laundered as soon as they knew there were bugs on em... this is a new level of stupid.
