#47- The aim of each individual game of D&D could be absolutely anything. The Dungeon Master, the person running the game, might set a goal like kill X, solve the mystery of Y, but players tend to make their own! Basically, it's interactive storytelling.
Congratulations! You found out your dad used to be a douchebag. My mum used to get drunk and party. Our parents were mostly all assholes as teenagers. Not really an FML, but it does always suck to find out about your parents old assholery. Have fun with your game; it's been too long since I've played, as well.

#46 should not be making mean comments until they learn how to spell RETARDED correctly. What's the difference between playing in the D&D fake world or playing your "Rock Band" world? People find fun in different ways. So let them.
Your dad must have felt karma creeping up on him. He probably really thought "Shit, I wonder how often you must get your ass kicked like I used to kick the ass of kids like you when I was younger!"
I think I heard something like this on a TV show before....
DnD is one of the most fun games ever, in my opinion. Your dad is a complete idiot.
43 - wins ha!

You dad was a douche as a kid. And clearly sees nothing wrong with it. But as long as he doesn't pick on you now, that's not really an FML.
Well, we all know the type of guy your old man is. Still, D&D is one of the more wholesome hobbies available to the young generation, enjoy yourself :D
