Catch 22

Today, I found out I have a restraining order against me from my ex boyfriend. Apparently, I drive by his house too much and it is considered stalking. He forgot that I live 2 houses down, and MUST drive by his house to get home. FML
I agree, your life sucks 80 798

He must have a high opinion of himself if he thinks you would drive past his house every day just to see him. If you can't drive past his house how are you going to get home?

Chances are he didn't forget. He's just being a douche. That's all.

#27, the FML that went something like this, "Today, I went to the grocery store and the little old lady in front of me started talking to me, and then left, then after my stuff was rang up (which was not that much stuff) the total came to about 350 dollars. I was confused, so the check out guy told me that the little old lady said that I was her grandson, and that I would be covering her bill. FML" was definitely removed because so many people complained about it because it is an urban legend, so stfu when you don't know what you are talking about!!! Also, everybody that complains that this is fake, unless you know for 100% (such as you are a lawyer, judge, etc) or its a stupid urban legend such as the one above, you should stfu too!! Just learn to enjoy the effin site, thats what its here for.... As for the OP, I am sorry that that happened, it sucks when your exes try to rub it in your face that you are no longer together because they are selfish assholes that only care about thier egos.

Well, you should feel good that you're not longer with an idiot. ..But,..that sucks...why would he do that?

What a nutcase. Be glad he's your ex. & who cares if this is fake. but if it's not, you should probably fight it. if everyone knew how much creeping their exes do on facebook, myspace, and the ganeralinternet, we'd all have restraining orders. haha. maybe not quite that extreme, but still.

Hahahahah #29, you really think someone getting a restraining order against you is a sign they're not over you? Yikes.

Yeah, you seem like a real threat to his well being. He better watch out. Little fragments of asphalt might get him in the eyes as you drive past, oh noes.

I REALLY doubt he 'forgot' that you lived right there.

He cannot forget that you live 2 houses down. If so, then I'm sure he'll forget he has a restraining order against you.

#14, here's my guess of what happened. The ex filed for the restraining order, and then the police interviewed the OP. After talking to the police and getting things straightened out, the OP posted this FML. So the FML is that 1) the OP had to go down to the police station (or talk to the police) in the first place and convince them s/he isn't a stalker, 2) the OP now has an extremely awkward relationship with the ex, and 3) the OP has discovered that s/he was apparently at some point in time dating a paranoid moron.
