dude all u have to do is go to the courthouse within a week or two i think and show them that you have ur inspection sticker and they will dismiss the ticket..this is so not an FML

the OP is definitely exaggerating on the price of his ticket. my boyfriend was pulled over a few months ago with an expired inspection sticker. his ticket was for $75. also, most states allow you 10 days after being pulled over for you to get your car inspected. then you just show up to your court date with the papers and they'll dismiss the ticket.

Ok, how the hell does the cop see the inspection sticker is inspired while driving by? Does he have a bionic eye or something? Its obviously a secondary offense. What did you actually get pulled over for? Speeding i presume. Also their not that big an ass hole unless, your an ass hole to them. Then they'll look for any little thing. And what i meant by he should see things through is if he knew he still got mail at home, and that his "sticker" was going there he should get to him by what ever means possible. Not just assume that his mom is going to do everything for him. Also, whats the big deal with spelling with all of you? This is a forum and is very informal. Its not like this is a thesis paper your turning in for your masters degree. So if me or any one else mispells a word, or uses wrong punctuation. #12: British people spell "realize" (and organize, etc) with -ise, so realise. Lay off :P In Texas, they put the inspection sticker on for you, right after they do the inspection.

#38 Actually, where the cops are pulling more people over now to generate revenue. Where I live, they bottlenecked a street I drive through every day and inspected every car's stickers one by one and pulled over anyone with outdated stickers. This was a surprisingly large number of people.

Actually #38, the cops are looking for everything little thing right now because they're trying to increase revenue. And where I live, the cops have actually bottlenecked on of the streets I drive through every day to go to school and checked every car sticker one by one and pulled over everyone with outdated inspections.

Umm in NJ they put the sticker on as soon as you pass inspection. I don't understand why they would withhold it after you've passed and mail it...
