Today, I had a date with this really cute guy. He invited me over to make dinner at his place. Eventually we end up in his bedroom to have sex. He pulls down my panties and says, "You need to shave that shit." FML

there's nothing wrong with pubes, but if you need a machete to get through the jungle, it might be time to start shaving

oh my gosh! thank you! you're the first guy who has said this! I don't shave down there... yet. but when I shave my bikini line it itches reeeeeally bad, so it's annoying. and if people expect me to shave down there, they better be expecting me to itch it too.

It's kind of funny to read all of the FMLs that turn into arguments over whether or not a woman should shave her nether regions. I stopped participating in them after the first couple ones. The arguments always follow the same pattern, and there are always the same ignorant assholes in every debate. Ho Hum. Although I will say the people in this one have been more polite than in debates past.

Ok so anyone who's saying shaven girls are like little prepubescent girls is an idiot. It's not that, I wanna see what I'm workin with. Saying it's too difficult to shave or hurts, learn to do it right. All the girls I've slept with in the last 3 years have been completely shaven without any bumps or irritation and they do it either every day or every other day. So shut it and learn. I shave myself (sack and all) daily and only have irritation if I am hungover or drunk and **** it up. Also anyone saying she's a **** because she has sex without "love" (as some of you call it) **** off and grow a pair. Sex is for more than just making babies or showing someone you care. Sometimes it just ******* rocks and gets a good time in. All you ***** need to either find someone who knows wtf they are doing and/or take yourself and sex less seriously, it's damn fun and a great workout if you do it right. Shaven is more visually appealing because you can actually see something more than a disgusting rat's nest of hair. This goes for both male and female.

ugh, all these people saying it's easy and all these other people saying it's difficult/annoying to shave. Has anyone considered that it's different for different people? I think not. Why? Because we like to argue.

I'm 100% Sure Jesus Had Pubic Hair. I See No Complains About It In The Bible. Seriously People, It's Just Hair. Get. Over. It.

Why do you think he stayed single his whole life?

Why not have women born hairless from the neck down, it would save a lot of time from shaving it all. Anyway, trimmed is the minimum requirement. Shaving is your call, since its your body. The guy doesn't like it, he can go **** someone else. I myself have very sensitive skin (especially down there), so trimming it is for me. I've tried shaving on several occasions, but it never ends well. I already shave my arms, legs, and armpits. Seriously, I'm not going to stress over one area that can be optionally shaved. It's all about preference!!!!!!!!

When I've tried to shave my pubic hair, I've gotten large, painful, pus-filled ingrown hairs within a day. I don't think I'm doing it wrong. I just think people's skin sensitivity/hair texture is highly varied. And waxing, leaving the entire issue of pain out of the question, is too expensive for some people to do consistently. I'm not against discretionary grooming for aesthetic purposes, but no girl deserves to be made to feel deficient for something that is a matter of personal preference and possibly not entirely under her control. Sex is not some Purelled, standardized activity, and if you think too hard about any of it it's not too difficult to get unnecessarily grossed out (proximity to pee/excrement, sexual discharges getting on things). If you don't make hair an issue, it doesn't have to be, and to me at least it's less disturbing than really bad ingrown hair, which frankly looks like some sort of rare STD.

thats because the bible is a fictional story 241.

I said that once to a girl that I'd known and liked for years after we finally got together, but I said it as a joke and was trying to make it lighthearted...she didn't react like she was too offended, but I felt bad and apologized later saying I was just trying to make a possibly awkward suggestion less awkward...maybe that's how he meant it and just didn't really know how to put it...
