third degree my ass. a straighteners not that hot. my super expensive rlly hot straightener gave me a huge second degree burn on my hand and if you were wearing clothes it shunt have burned u worse than 1st degree wow. unless for some reason u don't wear clothes while doing ur hair?

First of all: You're dumb for having put your straightener on your bed. It could not only start a fire, but also melt your blankets if they have anything not cotton in them. Second of all: With a third degree burn, you wouldn't be in pain because your skin, muscle, and nerves would be gone. The nerves are destroyed in the area of a third degree burn. You're just a not-so-smart person who sat on their straightener and got a booboo.
