Today, I went to the library to pick up a copy of Romeo and Juliet for my English class. After looking around for half an hour, I asked the librarian. "I couldn't find Shakespeare anywhere. Where could I find him?" She quickly replied, "He's dead", giggled to herself, and went back to her work. FML

how is this an FML? you were too lazy to Really look for the book and when you asked the librarian she made a dumb joke...big deal. look it up on the library computer. most libraries offer a search menu.

Dear FML. Today I was talking to a wheezing old librarian, and she made a joke. This will be my last entry. GOODBYE CRUEL WORLD!

You couldn't find the Shakespeare section in a library, even after searching for 30 minutes? Even assuming you exaggerated the time it took, unless the library in question is a legal deposit library (or equally large) then that's really scary.

Eh, in our local library, it's cataloged under young adult nonfiction, which is completely random and makes no sense whatsoever. So I can see where finding it could be problematic (but, you know, the card catalog can be used by your average 5 year old, particularly if it's on a computer).

And instead of laughing it off you decided to cry on the internet. YDI.
