At least you didn't go to the wrong funeral. It took me 20 minutes to realise I didn't know 'Brian'..... I was meant to be at Berts. Nervous laughter is not a good thing.
My girlfriend actually said "Congratulations" instead of "Condolences" once. First time I was pretending to not know who she was...
It all depends on how you look at it I guess. I mean I find it perfectly fine to say that, it shows you care. But I guess it depends on the person maybe?
