Today, my friend bought a smartphone and updated his Facebook status with it. Two weeks ago he signed an apartment lease with another friend. Four months ago he bought a new handgun. Seven months ago he bought a new TV. He's owed me $300 for a year and a half. FML

I learned that someone else is staying there: a fat, unemployed man-child who talks shit about us on Facebook, while his manipulative wife pays his bills. I know the feeling.....and the general excuse is that they just don't have the money. I loaned 500 dollars. 2 years and nothing back. Lesson learned. Even if its your best friend you trust asking.....say no.
