Today, yet again, my boss whined to me like a baby over being "friend-zoned" by his secretary. Not only does he basically stalk her and make her eat lunch with him every day, she's a lesbian in a committed relationship. He suspended me after I lost it and told him to see a fucking therapist. FML

Today, my boss sent me to a meeting with a client I've never met to do some damage control and renegotiate his contract. For two hours, he alternated between threatening to sue us, and making vulgar comments about raping me in his office. FML

Today, I went to deliver some reports to my boss in his office. He was facing away from me and ranting about his "useless employees", so I slipped in and waited for him to put the phone down. Turns out he was talking to himself. When he noticed me, he bitched me out and threatened to fire me. FML

Today, my spineless shitwhip of a boss made me go fire a notoriously abusive employee. I had to act like firing him was my decision, even though I'm the secretary. Now I get to live in constant fear that the guy was serious when he threatened to find out where I live and kill me. FML

Today, my boss called me to his office, and played back a recording of me telling a co-worker that if I still worked there in a year, I would hang myself. He then bitched me out for unprofessional conduct. The taped conversation took place over a year ago, with my recently ex-boyfriend. FML

Today, my girlfriend left me for her boss. The same boss who, two weeks ago, caused her to come to me crying because he was sexually harassing her at work. When I told her I'd intervene, she told me she'd handle it. I guess she certainly did. FML

I saw one comment recommending a lawsuit, and it didn't say America anywhere on their profile.. I'm not sure why you felt the need to mention America's obsession with suing when there's really no evidence to support it on this FML. :)

Legitimate sexual harassment is a lot more serious (and worthy of a lawsuit) than spilling coffee on your lap and suing McDonald's. Not exactly a petty lawsuit of which we Americans are so fond.

49- Actually, the lady got 3rd degree burns on her skin, and only asked for 10,000$ to pay for the medical fees, but she ended up winning wayy more because McDonalds coffee was at boiling point, and they had been told too many times that it is too hot by Board Of Health people.

I do think that in America there is a culture of suing over matters that would be easily settled in other less expensive ways but in this case I think a lawsuit is well worth it. Sexual harassment is serious.

I think you need to learn to keep your actions professional. She is the one who is being harassed, so she is the one you should have spoken to in the first place. For the record, documenting everything he says to you and his behavior would have gotten you farther.

I'm not disagreeing with you (for the most part), but from the sounds of it, OP isn't the one initiating these conversations- he's forced to get his ear chewed off by some idiot who thinks he can get in a relationship with a committed lesbian. But yes. Documentation+HR all the way. And get the secretary to file for sexual harassment. If he's stalking her, that shit escalates quickly, and both she and her partner could be in serious danger if this gets out of hand.
