Stingy git

Today, my boss found out that I have a second job in a similar industry and tried to fire me for disloyalty, industrialist espionage, theft of intellectual property, you name it. I need a second job because he pays peanuts, and it’s a specialised skill set so I got a similar job just for convenience. FML

Quit the first job and increase your hours in the second one.

Did your first job have a non-competing policy? A lot of them do, and can be risky from a legal standpoint if you have access to proprietary information in both companies, especially if they are direct competitors.

Can’t blame your boss. The fact that he doesn’t pay you enough is a good reason to seek another job, just in a different field.

If it's not in your contract that you can't work for anyone else then skip along to an employment lawyer and see what you can rinse the douche for. Double check what you signed because if your contact does prohibit this, you're screwed.
