Actually, this IS pretty depressing compared to other FMLs that just talk about inconveniences like anal seepage. It's quite depressing to find out your friends would rather ditch you than help you out if they think you sound sad all the time, that'd usually be the cue to ask if anything's wrong, not dump them. ): Also, am I the only one who thought the first comment was being sarcastic?

a similar thing happened to me about a month ago. it really messed me up for a while because I considered the guy who sent the text to be one of my closest friends. but eventually you just have to realize that some people don't know how to handle situations (regardless of the specifics) the right way and can go about it in a hurtful way but you can't get too down about it. I'm sure you have plenty of better friends OP, hang in there!
