Don't get high on your own supply

Today, I saw my doc about the painful swelling I've had in my arm all week. He seemed totally out of it, and ended up telling me it's all in my head, despite the swelling. When I respectfully suggested it might be a blood issue, he just said, "Nah". FML

Seems like someone has been writing off his own prescriptions.

Sounds like your doctor was a little high.

You just don't get it, do you? You don't "suggest" things to your doctor if you want to get out alive. And if the doctor says it's in your head, it is. Doctors were, are and always will be superior to us normal human beings who are dumb enough to get sick. And for the idiots who take this seriously: it's sarcasm. Get used to it.

Are you saying that people should suggest diagnoses and tests to their doctors because laypeople know as much medicine as doctors do? Because that seems to be what you're implying with your scathing sarcasm and acerbic wit.

I'm so sorry about your doctor, he sounds like a real jerk! Try to find a new one ASAP; the swelling in your arm could be serious or nothing at all. Hopefully it's nothing! Good Luck!

Maybe it is in your head....and thighs, back, and stomach. Put down the twinkies!....but really OP it's always recommended to get a second opinion. GL.

Maybe he shouldnt be a doctor..

was it dr dre? smokin some cronic? xD

Lol... If you knew DocBastard, you would know that he isn't an idiot. Idiots generally "test" prescription drugs, troll, or people who joke about a respected FML(er).
