Don't mess with gamers

Today, after receiving the third call this week from teachers about my son falling asleep in class, I decided that it would be a good idea to hide his Xbox controllers. He decided it would be a good idea to hide my diabetes medication. FML

**** that, smash that xbox to the side of his head:/

That's bad parenting, plain and simple. Any kid raised right would never dream of pulling a stunt like this, especially when it puts his parents' health at risk. You brought this on yourself. Now it's up to you to set him straight before the nasty behaviour gets worse.

Control your child please. He should not have that much control over you. Honestly you should be able to make him give those back.

Really? Does he know you could get extremely sick ? I think you need to have a talk with him !

I do think in this case, YDI. The fact that your first action was to take something away and not talk about it instead of speaking to your son just indicates to me that this may have always been the "solution" - so if your son starts doing it because he's learned that's how you deal with problems, what else can be said?

I fall asleep I'm class a lot, turns out I have narcolepsy

Make a video on Youtube where you shoot his Xbox. Then give him up for adoption.

Sounds like your son is a little brat. You should be more controlling and discipline him more, a little spanking wouldn't kill. In where I live, what he did is totally inacceptable.
