Grow the **** up. You are not, no matter how much you thin kyou are, as well educated as your teacher. Try making fun of the stupid shit you do someday instead of picking on people who are doing their jobs, no thanks to little jerks like you. You, after all, were so stupid you didn't notice you were using the same paper? I agree with #20. Please defenstrate yourself ASAP. For the undereducated, that means throw yourself out the window...
To all the people saying she deserves it for 'trashing her teacher', I highly doubt you went through all of school without saying one bad word about any of your teachers. And even if you did, there are some teachers who are genuine dicks, who treat students unfairly and cruelly, or who just don't teach very well if at all, who lose or just never bother marking assignments, etc. But even with all that said, OP, you really should have checked the paper before you started writing your essay on it.
honestly, there are high schoolers floating around who are smarter than teacher, the praxis isn't that hard... but i can top it. we had a teacher at my old high school that , im not joking, HID IN A BOX to see what her students were saying about her. just because folks are teaching, sadly, doesnt mean they are well educated. but thats the sad thing about tenure, i suppose. old, crazy-ass people like that get to stay in positions where they aren't really doing any good while new and potentially better teachers wait for them to retire/die so they can get a job.
No, HS teachers don't have tenure anymore, but she has a point. I doubt you've gone through ~12 years of schooling without speaking badly, thinking negatively, or simply disliking a teacher. Yes, OP was a dumbass to write her thoughts out on a sheet of paper while in school, and then having the carelessness to use it in class, but honestly, what she and her friend do outside of the presence of their teacher is their business. I'm sorry, but it seems to me that you're taking OP's dislike of her teacher intensely personal. Yes, most teachers work too hard for too little pay, but you can't deny that some might -GASP- actually be assholes who will take advantage of their authority. Or they could be incompetent teachers. From my experience, I've had intelligent, well educated teachers who could not organize a lesson plan, always lost our homework- even our tests- and overtly played favorites. I've had teachers who didn't even give an effort to hide their prejudice against atheists/gays/heathens/spawn-of-satan. Then again, I've had teachers who were simply condescending, abusive old *****. And it's not unique to my spoiled/lazy/disrespectful/ungrateful/unintelligent/immature generation. I've had several adults, my parents included, who've looked back on their childhood teachers and told me something along the lines of, "Man, (s)he was a terrible person!" TL;DR: Some people should not be teachers. I'm sorry, I just get really ticked off by ageism.
Wow thanks so much for your insight.
"but i can top it. we had a teacher at my old high school that , im not joking, HID IN A BOX to see what her students were saying about her." Your teacher was Solid Snake?
Win!
Ouch, my ego! Random internet person called me an idiot! Now I shall cry in a corner! You know perfectly well what I meant, internettoughguy. Way to take a statement and throw it out of context. Unless YOU'RE the moron, you should know that a stupid doodle on scrap paper between two kids hardly qualifies as defamation of character. Unless, of course, they manage to do some actual DAMAGE and convince the staff, the parents, and other students that Teacher X is a steaming pile of shit with their little drawing over there. Unlikely. Defamation of character gets you sued. A doodle on a sheet of paper might get you detention, or maybe even suspension if it's vulgar or violent enough. But sued in a court of law? SHUT THE **** UP. Defamation of character is almost always slander or libel... derogatories presented as fact, not merely free expression of opinion.
That wasn't very thought out, was it? On the brighter side, how'd the doodles look?
lol aww tht suckkksss.
You see, pencils come with something that can take away the graphite, an "eraser" in laymen's term. Before anyone thinks up some bullshit about penning the doodling, just scribble over it, at worst she'd still get less mad.
Not the brightest crayon in the box now, are you?
