Tell the doctor to RE-call in the meds. Shit. How ******* hard is this for them to figure out? Threaten to report him to the Medical Board if he fails to take proper actions.
Exactly my thought. OP could call the surgeon and tell him to phone it in at another pharmacy if its the pharmacists fault and if OP has problems again then they know its the doctor and then threaten suing/reporting. Or they can then trying to get a physical prescription. But I get the feeling that the surgeon is going to be a dick and think OPs just wanting painkillers and think they already picked them up but that's easy enough to overcome (that little problem)
I'm sure there is a kid at the local high school who can hook you up
That's not malpractice. You sue if doc leaves a surgical instrument in the midst of your intestines, not for a lack of pain medicine...
Darn. So you won't be able to blow your boyfriend now..
I assume this is in reference to the earlier FML.
And meanwhile your boyfriend is complaining because you can't give him head...
I'd try to get an actual note or prescription from your doctor. Obviously since you're in a lot of pain you can't do it yourself. Have friends who could do it for you? Feel better OP.
I am not sure how it is on the surgeon side, but that pharmacist must be a dick because he could literally get it from the phone in about a minute tops. If it takes him hours just to receive the script though, id suggest going somewhere else because it will probably take him hours more to fill. On behalf of my profession I apologize for the bastard giving us a bad name.
What pharmacy do you work in and on what planet? We go through this constantly - the doctor refusing to give you the prescription because, "We already called it in."
Or possibly, maybe the hundreds of OTHER PATIENTS needed attention as well?
OxyCotin? Not sure what that brand is. What is the active ingredient called?

You had me at "oral".
Well then you missed the part where someone had been going "back and forth for hours"
