Today, my boyfriend's dream came true; he had always wanted to break a bed during sex. The bed he broke was a heirloom in my family for 150 years. The best part? He was by himself. FML

OP must have meant that the frame, not the mattress, where a heirloom. At that age it was probably made of solid wood, which could quite easily withstand 150 years of use, where as a mattress couldn't. That also means that the mattress, ergo the part that actually gets kinda gross and stained after a while, would have been switched to a new one every now and then.

Does it still count as by himself if he had an inflatable friend? Just trying to think through the physics of it. He's either very..... enthusiastic and durable, or the bed wasn't holding up as well as you thought. But the additional scenario, that could add more bouncing to contribute?
