Drunk with power

Today, I finished my classwork and my homework early. Since we weren't allowed to leave the room, I decided to draw. My teacher noticed and gave me detention for "goofing off" when I should be doing my work. When I told the teacher I was already done, they gave me a second detention for "attempting to defy them". ...somethings never change. a teacher in the classroom is like Joesph Stalin. if you stand up to him/her, you will disappear.

I know I said, "Good night," but I had to reply to 143. It's a good point; I hadn't even considered it as a possibility. Wow, you made me feel too much like a little child. "Back in high school." I'm only halfway through. Oops, there goes my validity. Now whenever I try to debate, people will say, "Shut up boopityboppity ur only 16 u dnt know about this."

why so much grammer lessons dont take it seriously there just comments

ok I'm new to fml but all I have noticed so far, more so than the stories themselves.. the constant comment fights about spelling and such, why are you people so judgmental and mean??? are you all Americans?? ( had to add my own bit of mean into this or I'd feel left out hehe)

1. threaten to report the teachers to the principal for abuse of teachers power. 2. ACTUALLY report them to the principal 3. threaten the principal you will call the local news network and ruin the schools reputation if he/she doesn't follow suit 4. if the principal is unphased, threaten to call health inspectors in to check the cafeteria and have the school named and shamed and shut down. (all schools are disgusting this should work) 5. if THAT doesn't work i say buy some drugs, plant them on those teachers and have them arrested.

not all schools are nasty.... and I can tell you those kitchens are actually very clean because the health inspectors show up on a regular basis (all unannounced)

you have to realize, teachers find it hard to say 'i was wrong' and they cannot ever say 'i'm sorry'. it's a fact of life.

Unfortunately, this is true. A teacher has to keep control in the classroom. This doesn't mean (s)he should be a dictator, but sometimes it means (s)he can't admit to being wrong. Some students would pounce on that. What your teacher did wasn't right; but in the future, to save yourself trouble, OP, try not to challenge the teacher in front of the class. Find a way to go to him/her when class is over, explain yourself, and show him/her your completed work when she won't have to publicly admit wrongdoing. It's not FAIR, but life is rarely fair, and doing it quietly might make your teacher less defensive and result in fewer detentions.

That's what happened in Smart Guy! TV always teaches us morals so we don't have to ourselves.

Aw, boppity, I still think you're valid. #149: What? We can't have a little discussion? It's much better than trading poorly typed insults, even if it's not quite as hilarious. :3
