Easy mistake

Today, I parked my car on the street late at night, when I was distracted by a text message. Some guy then gets in my passenger side. Panicked, thinking I was being robbed, I bolt out of my car bruising my head and dropping my phone onto the pavement. The guy meant to get in the car behind me. FML

Oh man, that sucks. I'd probably do the same thing though. When some random guy gets into your car, what else would you do? Of course you'd panic. Don't worry, you're not the only one that would panic.

I've gotten into the wrong car before. It's embarassing and makes you feel like an idiot. He's pretty oblivious to do that. (And no, i'm not a hypocrite. i realize that this makes me oblivious also). I'd say this is just a failure all around.

#13, **** yes I would run. Either run or use pepper spray if you have it. In that situation, it's better than a baseball bat.

more like FHL, he probably felt like a dumbass

So I guess everyone criticizing him for unlocked doors forgot cars have an auto button that pretty much unlocks all of the doors, right? And a bat is entirely ******* useless in a car. To even think you'd have a chance to use it in any situation, even outside of the car, is ******* retarded. You still have to reach for the bat, providing it hasn't rolled around and what have you. So while you're dicking around, Mr. Serial Killer rapist is busy stabbing you, or whatever it is people like that do. Definitely a normal reaction. You don't wait to see what someone is going to do when they are apparently comfortable with just entering your personal property.

alright i mean I'd be pretty startled if someone got in my car too

Ok. There are many thing people don't seem to be getting. One: Her car was parked and was NOT texting while driving. Two: It's a reflex reaction because if a stranger gets into your car, you don't really sit and chit-chat, you get the **** out and feel drop-dead scared. Three: Uhm, I supposed that when she parked her car, she might've unlocked the doors of the vehicle, as she was supposed to get out of the car but was distracted by a text. Four: Don't say she deserves it, you obviously don't know what you're on about. It could've been the end of her life, if you know what that means. Thankss! :) x
