Easy mistake

Today, I parked my car on the street late at night, when I was distracted by a text message. Some guy then gets in my passenger side. Panicked, thinking I was being robbed, I bolt out of my car bruising my head and dropping my phone onto the pavement. The guy meant to get in the car behind me. FML

Oh man, that sucks. I'd probably do the same thing though. When some random guy gets into your car, what else would you do? Of course you'd panic. Don't worry, you're not the only one that would panic.

oh AND alwaysalady I just laughed so hard. Thats hilarious!

Yeah sorry but YDI for not locking your doors. First thing I do when I get in the car is lock my doors. ESPECIALLY at night.

This happened to me once. Except it was broad daylight and the girl got in the backseat. My reaction was more like "(puzzled look)... wtf are you doing?" She was pretty embarrassed.

completely reasonable response

Today, it was late and I went to get into the passenger side of my car. As I sat down, I realized that I hadn't gotten into my wife's car, but some girl's. She screamed in horror, bolted out of the car, dropping her phone and bruising her head. She's suing me for pain and suffering. FML.

well i think its a good thing that you waited till you were parked before checking texts. #40 is too stupid to realize that theres a difference between driving and being parked. lol. oh no im checking texts instead of making sure i dont run over kiddies because thats so easy to accidentally do while parked. and im sure all the people all lock your doors have never accidently forgotten and left their doors unlocked. i dont have the power locks in my car so if a passenger leaves my door unlocked i dont always catch it. i would have ran away too.

To the dumb asses who say lock your doors: She was parked, she was not out of the car yet. Learn to read!

um 53 your comment doesn't make any sense. i always drive with my doors locked especially at night so if she was smart and had done that hes passenger door wouldn't have been unlocked
