Eff off

Today, I work 732 miles away from my wife and three children, and I rarely get to go home. After giving up many hours of family time to work on my last home visit, I returned to work only to have my boss accuse me of stealing time, dock me 50 hours, and "review" my employment for termination. FML

I hope you talk to your boss about this. It's really unfair to you, OP

If FML has taught us one thing it's that bosses are (usually) assholes.

That sucks OP prove that you weren't stealing time or whatever he think your doing because you can make a case against it.

Definitely Illegal. Start recording hours at home you work, record everything work-related. It can be considered wrongful termination and they will be charged for withholding wages! Good luck OP. Thats some tough stuff to deal with.

Quit while your behind. You shouldn't have to deal with a boss like that.

He docked you 50 hours!?! That is ridiculous! I would go to his supervisor or HR or someone - I wouldn't let someone take my hard earned money away from me - Hell no! Sorry OP - That SUCKS!!! Hang in there!!

Stand up for yourself. Try to get the boss to put herself / himself in your shoes.

Find a different job. Money is made everyday, but memories with family are once in a lifetime.

He does have to pay you for time you worked. He can fire you for working "unauthorized time" if that's what he's gonna try and fire you for, but it's against the law to not pay you for time to work.
