maybe he means that he wants to get you pregnant
#18 I know from personal experience that I overeat when I'm bored. Old habits die hard...Still, it was pretty rude of her husband to say that. With an attitude like that directed at OP, she's likely to believe what her husband said. If OP actually believes that she can keep up the healthy lifestyle, I feel like she'd be more likely to succeed.
It can be a sign of emotional issues, or even an eating disorder. It's not always as simple as "I'm a lazy **** who's gonna stuff my face". Katie (that's what you said your name is, isn't it? I have no memory .__.), I also eat when I'm bored. I guess it's thanks to our metabolisms that we're both thin.
#33 Exactly! I feel like a lot of women who overeat do so because of psychological/emotional reasons that even they may not be totally aware of. Actually, sounds like you have a good memory after all! My name is indeed Katie. :) I'm glad I'm not the only one who has the eating because of boredom issue. I've recently managed to control it more than I used to-- if I do snack out of boredom, I at least try to reach for something healthy and work out on a regular basis. My habits used to be far worse. A year ago, I was about 15 to 20 pounds heavier. Like you said, though, it's not always that easy for everyone to get to a healthy weight and maintain it. Everyone's metabolism is different!
I try to eat healthy, but I cave and eat junk a lot. I also don't exercise, aside from walking around my HUGE campus, and I should really do that too. I really need to work on my eating habits though, because I have high cholesterol. I have gained five pounds recently, but considering that only gets me up to a hundred it's not really a big deal, and it may be related to thyroid issues, because I have low thyroid and have to take supplements.
I totally know how that is! It's so hard not to reach for junk food...I still struggle with that. :/
Right now the fact that I have NO DAMN FOOD IN MY APARTMENT is stopping me from snacking... :/
Is this the first time you've noticed jerk-like behavior?
Simple solution: 1) Raise your dominant hand. 2)Look him in the eye 3) Swing your right hand across his right or left cheek 4) Repeat while Increasing speed
You go girl! Haha
Keywords
Prove him wrong girl, he's a jerk : )
Two possibilities: A) He's insecure now that OP's improved her appearance— and more importantly, has gained confidence— that he's got to tear her self-esteem down to keep her to himself or to make himself feel better about his own flaws, or B) He's a total douche. Sorry OP; don't let him steal your pride in yourself.
