Enhanced senses

Today, my blind friend bragged to a group of people that she knew all of us by smell. We all took turns standing in front of her, and she would tell us who we were. When I got in front of her, she thought I was my dog. FML

awee i'd probably smell like dog too. i have two of them and they're a huge part of my life. try using a perfume or cologne when going out or something. that's what i tend to do.

you need to take care of your hygiene. go take a shower!

Well, dogs do smell, but yes you could have taken a shower if you didn't earlier

lol #6 OP, your friend probably knew it was you, and was just having fun at your expense.

Just FYI, I recognize things very well by smell. I had a friend who I could smell the dog off of whenever he would pet it. I don't think it has any implication on your hygiene. If you were petting your dog earlier, it could very easily get in your clothes. So don't feel bad about it, dude or dudette. However, if you really feel bad.... change soap or something.

I usually identify friends by voices, but one of them smokes so I know it's her before she even talks.

So FYL because you: a) don't shower enough b) use crappy deodorant and/or c) don't have a sense of humor? Just no. I've said it once and I'll say it again: who is moderating these?!

Eh, what? Smelling like dog does not equal poor personal hygiene and a need to change deodorant. If you have an animal and spend any reasonable amount of time with it, you're gonna smell like it. It's not necessarily a bad thing, that's just what happens when you live with pets. And #18, why the **** would you give a dog a bath just because it smells like dog? Sweetie, that's what dogs are supposed to smell like.
