Today, I was at the hairdresser's getting a trim. The lady doing my hair commented on how beautiful and luscious my hair was, which made me feel really good. I later overheard her telling her colleague that hair as nice as mine was wasted on someone with a face like mine. FML

Sometimes people say mean things, don't let it get to you. I'm sure there are plenty of people who think you're pretty, and others who won't care one way or the others.

#45 I'm aware that it probably wouldn't have accomplished anything because the hairdresser is probably enough of a bitch that she doesn't care, but it probably would have made OP better to just let it all out and confront her. When someone says something mean/does something rude, I always find it better to confront the person even if they don't care if they're rude. That way I can at least let off some steam and I won't stew in my anger!

did you tell her if your dog had a face like hers you would shave it's butt and teach him to walk backwards. it's old I know but effective just the same.
