My family is racist too, I brought my Peruvian boyfriend over to meet them , and they kept calling him the "genie pig eater", and my uncle tried to fight him because we were holding hands. It was extremely embarrassing , but I tried my best to make him feel comfortable and defended him every chance I could . Sorry that we have crazy families op! Hopefully she likes/loves you enough to put up with the fam :)

I'm sorry that has happened to both you and OP!
