Today, it was my first day at my new job. I had to break up two fistfights, then leave work early with a black eye. This is not what I had in mind when I applied to work at a retirement home. FML

Why should they be? What is it with people thinking all old people are cute and sweet? They're just like everyone else!

They can be fierce! I had one woman want to start a fight with another from a different hallway. I had to prevent her from going down an adjoining hall. She decided to get me back by pinching one of my boobs. Yeah...I was wearing a fuchsia scrubs and my cheeks were a match.
