First impressions

Today, I had my first job interview in months. The interviewer started by introducing herself and asking how I was. I got caught between introducing myself and telling her how I was and replied, "I'm Kate thanks." FML

Well that sounds weird but it shouldn't have killed the interview by any means.

It sounds like she was just saying her name and thanking the interviewer, which is not a big deal.

Lol I'm sure she understood you were a tad nervous and probably just chuckled at that.

This isn't much of an FML. It happens too often and is only briefly embarrassing. You deserve it for being dumb and posting it on here.

Well actually, 20, it is in indeed an FML, seeing as how it was submitted and confirmed. Do I sense animosity that perhaps may be due to the fact that 8 of yours have failed to be confirmed? Are you upset that your misfortunes aren't even worthy of being mocked and laughed at?

I believe sirEBC has just won whatever it is a'^win' gets you. I heard it was an all inclusive trip to The Bahamas but budget cutbacks from FML headquarters have lessened the prize somewhat..

"I'm Kate, (good), thanks." Is that the problem? That you didn't answer how you were doing? Most interviewers would understand that people get nervous during an interview. I think you're making a bigger deal than it really is.

And then you continued with "oh my god I'm so stupid why did I say that I'm so sorry oh no I have to go now!!" How about finishing the sentence with "...for giving me the opportunity to talk with you today." Then you'd be in great shape. Unless your name isn't Kate...

wow holy shit WTF yes your life sucks holyfucking shit you got a job interview yep your life sucks you dumb ass
