It works wonders on a plane to have sound cancelling headphones, plug them into your phone and just listen to your favourite songs. It will help to keep you calm :)

Yes. The parents should have stopped them. That is so thoughtless and uncaring. People are genuinely terrified of flying and this was not going to help. It sounds like they were doing it to wind people up or for a joke but it is not funny and not okay. I would have been furious and the parents or as a last resort, the staff should have stopped them.

No, you're not the only one. I would find this hilarious as well. But I'm not an anxious flyer, so I can understand not everyone would be pleased by this.
