this was truly stupid. metal conducts heat. (i'm assuming that spoon was made of metal cuz plastic doesnt heat that easily, if it had been made of wood...i'd shoot u for stupidity. then again melting plastic is just as stupid) why the hell did u stick heated metal into ur mouth? oh and 254, the handle wont heat up that easily bcuz the heat distribution in metal is rather slow. metal heated easily cuz that was directly over the candle, but that heat isnt transported uniformly that quickly, that and the fact that it was too far away from the candle to reach burning temperature.
That was funny though.... maybe he just wanted to try a funny experiment? Havent you guys ever tried something stupid just because you were bored and didnt have anything better to do. Cut the poor guy some slack. I give you props for thet though, i woulndt have the guts to stick that in my mouth.
hahahaha the same thing happened to me with a chocolate chip... my whole mouth was scortched. lmao FML2.
Dumb ass.

What are you, an idiot? Why wouldnt you use a microwave? I use it all the time with my cereal, its too cold sometimes and hurts my teeth. 10 seconds in the nuker is usually enough.
