For science

Today, I was eating cereal and decided to warm it up to see what it tasted like. So, using a candle in the room I placed my spoon over the flame and waited to see if it heated up. Pleased with my silly experiment, I put the spoon back in my mouth. I now can't talk because of my swollen tongue. FML

What are you, an idiot? Why wouldnt you use a microwave? I use it all the time with my cereal, its too cold sometimes and hurts my teeth. 10 seconds in the nuker is usually enough.

microwave?? saucepan??? The amount of time you would have had to hold the spoon over a candle to heat anything solid I'm surprised you don't have a big hole burned in your tongue.

Why are you surprised by the OP having a lit up candle handy? Some people light up scented candles at any time of the day, and they can be decorative, you don't necessarily have to hide them in a drawer in case there's no power.

I have a few candles we light every day because we like the smell and it gets our babies' attention lol

woooooooow. really? that was.....dumb haha you couldve just used the microwave?

OP, I believe you forgot your common sense :

Guys stop hating on him, it's obvious he's allergic to spoons so there's not much he can do about that.

Hope you had to go to work or school and explain how stupid you are over, and over, and over, and over.

Lmao I would do some dumb shit like that thanx for the laff LOL

I love how in the end he/she focuses on the fact that their tongue was swollen, not the fact that it burned like all holy hell. I think it was a bigger deal that it was hard to talk for them than the fact that they burned themselves and it was a stupid idea. You really have to question events such as this.
