Today, I was eating cereal and decided to warm it up to see what it tasted like. So, using a candle in the room I placed my spoon over the flame and waited to see if it heated up. Pleased with my silly experiment, I put the spoon back in my mouth. I now can't talk because of my swollen tongue. FML

Same thing different taste

Today, I decided to have cereal for breakfast. I poured the cereal in the bowl, added the milk and had a spoonful. Then I realized that my cereal was moving in the back of my mouth. FML

Today, I made a cup of tea at work. Whilst talking to a work mate I took a sip of the tea which I had forgotten was boiling hot and laughed at the same time, causing it to come out of my nose. I have blistered my whole mouth and even burnt my nostrils. FML

Today, as I was trying to remove my lunch from the hot oven tray, my finger brushed against the metal for a moment, and I instinctively put it in my mouth. I burnt my tongue, on my finger. I didn't realize that was possible. FML

Today, I was using the same metal spoon to stir boiling noodles and the pasta sauce I was heating up. I decided to taste the sauce and see if it was getting warm, forgetting that the spoon was sitting in boiling water three seconds earlier. FML

Today, after getting home from work late last night and feeling lazy, I'd put my leftover dinner in the microwave, spoon and all. I wake up to find one of the kids started the microwave and it blew up because of the metal spoon. FML

Today, I woke up from putting my child to bed. Drowsy, I stumbled down to the kitchen to make a mug cookie. I read a recipe on my phone, and put a knob of butter in a cup to melt in the microwave. I put my phone in the microwave and turned it on for 30 seconds, and didn't realize until I smelt burning plastic.. FML

What are you, an idiot? Why wouldnt you use a microwave? I use it all the time with my cereal, its too cold sometimes and hurts my teeth. 10 seconds in the nuker is usually enough.

I guess I can understand the curiosity......i guess. But, I don't understand why you heated the spoon instead of the bowl or proceeded to immediately put it in your mouth. Doesn't add up my friend.

lmfao! i droped a spoon in the oven when it was on and i tried getign the spoon out for like 10 mintues but it was hard cause it was to far back and i didnt want to burn my self so i started to try and pull it closer with a fork and it worked! and i put an oven mit on and then grabed it and then i was telling my self not to touch it with my bare hand and i picked it up with the other hand tht didnt have the oven mit on and burnt my hole hand so bad wer i couldnt move my hand for 3 days and i threw the spoon outa my hand and made a hole in the wall. haha so to all the people being mean saying there stupid back off cause somtimes you dont think lol.

So i guess you dont know what a microwave is? who ever thought putting a hot spoon in your mouth was a bright idea you must be on some next stuff, not to mention you must be a sped. this was the stupidest thing I've ever hurd. you win the stupid award most deff!
